Okay, so despite my total lack of participation recently, I have been working like a madman - both at my actual job and in the painting room.
I just completed a new painting (to be posted soon). Sadly, it is a giveaway - very overdue birthday present for my sister. I have 4 more in the works, hopefully to be completed within the next week & a half, for my debut "show" which will take place in my driveway , in conjunction with a giant, basement-purging garage sale on July 5&6 (to be confirmed by the powers in charge of the driveway).
I am taking my first ever paid vacation during the second week of July, and have tentative plans to go out

Once again, I am going to attempt to spend more time on my Devart account, I swear!
I've been working on some new techniques, and am brewing some interesting ideas that I hope to find time to execute in the near future, including a HUGE triptych (which, lets be realistic, will probably take me at least a year to execute, due to real-world obligations and interference).
As always, CRITICAL COMMENTS are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. I came to deviantart with the hope of bettering myself as an artist, and while I appreciate appreciation in all of its forms, "that looks nice," isn't a comment that's going to help me much in the area of personal artistic g

Why thanks for the comment! Its my first time attempting a piece like this; I hope it turns out well. I was trying to instill a sense of movement. I'd just finished a project of Duchamp and I fell in love with Nu Descendent un Escalier and how he tried to capture movement instead of doing the usual Cubist thing and depicting the object from different angles. I wanted to try it for myself. 
well i gotta admit ive never been much into abstract art, but your swirly paintings make me wanna take a stab at it.. really awesome work
